YSHIELD® PRO54 | Shielding paint with carbon fibers | 1 liter

PRO54 is our special shielding paint for interior and exterior use with a hard and resilient surface based on milled carbon fibers. This paint is very finely pigmented at 20 µm and forms an even, very hard film that hardly rubs off at all. The high-end acrylic binder has outstanding adhesive strength on almost any surface in the construction sector, including wood, metal, and plastics. Can be applied with a paint roller, airless sprayer, dipping, screen printing, etc. Technical data and information on application can be found in our technical data sheet above in the downloads section.

TÜV-SÜD certification

We have all our shielding paints monitored by TÜV-SÜD. The test standard is TM-07 (testing for health-related ingredients and emissions, product and process monitoring, control of input materials). This means that this paint is free of emissions (VOC), plasticizers (SVOC), solvents, and is highly breathable. The TÜV guideline TM-07 is largely compatible with international standards from UL Greenguard, Intertek Clean Air, etc. according to LEED v4 and is therefore mutually recognizable. Shielding attenuation HF & LF

This shielding paint shields high-frequency electromagnetic fields (HF) and has been tested from 600 MHz to 40 GHz in accordance with the IEEE Std 299-2006 standard. Since the high values at 40 GHz are not very realistic, the shielding attenuation values we specify always apply at 1 GHz. 

At 4 sqm/l (thick coat): Single coat 37 dB | Double coat 43 dB 
At 8 sqm/l (thin coat): Single coat 29 dB | Double coat 35 dB 

This shielding paint with an electrically conductive surface also shields low-frequency alternating electric fields (LF). 

Ready for 5G: Some companies offer “special” 5G shielding products. This product shields 5G frequencies even without advertising! In the shielding diagrams, you will find two gray bars with the 5G frequency spectra FR1 (600 MHz - 6 GHz) and FR2 (24 GHz - 40 GHz).
