As our shielding paints are more and more used in public areas we had them tested for their reaction to fire. All of our shielding paints have passed this tests without any problems. They can now be officially called “flame-resistant”. This means they fulfill all the requirements for fire protection classification B1 according to DIN 4102-1. For this purpose they don’t contain any chemical additives, only the high noninflammable contents (graphite/carbon) and the low organic contents (binder/additives) will do the job.
The certificates can be found at the corresponding product pages on the right side: “PDF: Report fire bevahior DIN 4102-1”.
