Sheet products / Series Yxx / Custom coating

Our standard assortment includes two types of wallpaper and a building membrane. With those we do cover most of the usual applications. But we also offer custom coating on our machine! This service is available for wholesalers, prefabricated housing manufacturers, industrial clients, etc.

Production process

  • In contrast to chemical metallization we are able to coat almost any material with our machine.
  • Our single stage thermal process does have a current consumption of 100 kWh, but there are absolutely no chemicals involved.
  • The conductive layer with minimal 0.002 Ohm (square resistance) consists of 100 % pure zinc.

Minimum requirements

  • Temperature resistance per second higher 300°C
  • Roll length longer than 1000 running meters (setup time 2 hours, by 20-30 meters loss of material)
  • Materials should be thinner than 1 mm
  • Ideal width 100-120 cm, maximum width 150 cm
     

Variables

  • Attenuation selectable between 40 dB and 100 dB
  • Edge trimming to your needed width
  • Rewinding of master rolls in your desired length
  • You may deliver your base material or we organize your desired material

YMC-50-150 is a one-side metallized PP-fleece for the shielding of high-frequency radiation (HF) and low-frequency electric fields (LF). Actually we use this product for our floor mats for bed canopies. Special feature Very high ecology: Almost all EMC shielding products become metallized in a “chemical” procedure. A lot of chemicals are needed for the production of copper- and nickel-layers. Our new coating process allows to completely apply the metal on the base material with the use of air and green electricity only, without chemicals. The ecological awareness for this is very high. High vapour permeability: Instead of an area-wide application the metal alloy is applied spattered on the base material. This is why all Y-serial products are highly vapour diffusive. Tyvek® is combining the best properties of paper, fleece, films and fabric. It is waterproof, windproof, permenent moistureproof and is still providing a high vapour permeability. YCP-xx-100 are one-side metallized wallpapers for the shielding of high-frequency radiation (HF) and low-frequency electric fields (LF). The basis for this products is a unbleached wallpaper base , certified to PEFC™ and FSC©, from the worldwide biggest manufacturer. This wallpaper has a very high dimension stability before, while and after processing. Compared to our fleece wallpaper YCF, the processing is more difficult, the paper tear very easily! That´s why the wallpaper should be used for ecological reasons only. Special feature Very high ecology: Almost all EMC shielding products become metallized in a “chemical” procedure. A lot of chemicals are needed for the production of copper- and nickel-layers. Our new coating process allows to completely apply the metal on the base material with the use of air and green electricity only, without chemicals.
