Characteristics
HF and LF shielding hooded long sleeve shirt. Top-quality individual pieces produced by us, no mass production! Silver-Jersey is highly elastic and slightly transparent. With elastic strap in the hood and the drawstring waistband.
Unlike common fabrics whose main focus is to „look good“, our hoodies contain a high content of an expensive silver thread. This thread may become discolored in the course of time, stripes or spots are normal and no quality defect! Nevertheless, Silver-Jersey is heavenly soft and feels comfortable on the skin, but also as pyjama top directly on the skin.
Compared to similar products, Silver-Jersey has a very high washability without attenuation loss, see our washing test. Silver-Jersey is electrically conductive on both sides which is why low-frequency fields will connect less and can be conducted away more easily. Many electrosensitive people give priority to fabrics that are groundable!
Important for the try-on: Silver-Jersey will shrink by 4-7 % during the first washing!

Grounding
Due to the surface conductivity this fabric can be grounded to shield low frequency (LF) electric fields.
The shielding attenuation is regularly tested in our own laboratory or by Professor Dipl.Ing. Pauli at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces in Munich due to the standards ASTM D4935-10 and/or IEEE-STD-299-2006. The line in the diagram stands for the radial direction of polarisation (both directions, horizontal/vertical) and indicates the attenuation achievable in practice.
