We have often been asked by customers for a product for the protection against low-frequency magnetic fields (e.g. fuse box behind one´s bed). After extensive research, we can now offer you our 0,1 mm thick and 25 cm wide mu-metal foil NMF25. Low-frequency magnetic fields are shielded with 14 dB (80 % shielding), low-frequency electric fields with 80 dB and high-frequency radiation with 100 dB. In case of processing in electronic applications, double sided adhesive tapes can be used for bonding NMF25. Using "Metylan Ovalit T" for bonding on walls might be a little bit tricky but not impossible. Therefore, we will offer laminated 50x50 cm wooden panels from January, which can easily be stuck together. We were able to absorb a price increase at the last delivery but due to the current silver price we now have to respond to this situation. Due to numerous customer feedback we slightly changed our shielding fabric Silver-Jersey. As of now Silver-Jersey has 150 g/m² and is more comfortable when using as T-Shirt or underwear. Less fabric will be used for larger articles of clothing as the width is now 150 cm! Due to its thin yarn count the attenuation is now 35 dB, which is, however, still an outstanding result for a thin elastic jersey fabric. New on stock are 3 grounding sets with a new grounding plug for CEE-7/4 sockets. It is designed in a way that it can only be fixed by screwing it with the socket lid. This must be done by an electrician particularly with respect to the fact that he can check in advance if the network is suitable (TNS / TT). Nicht bei den normalen Produkten, sondern bei den Sonderposten ist seit heute ein neuer Stoff. Basis ist Bauwolle mit wenig Polyester und einem Edelstahlfaden. Warum dieser Stoff ein Sonderposten ist, finden Sie detailliert in der Produktbeschreibung: Ungewaschen hat Steel-Cotton eine hohe Qualität, eine gute Schirmdämpfung von 30 dB, ist nahezu weiss und ist wegen des Edelstahlfadens erdbar. Waschen kann mal Steel-Cotton allerdings nicht, da der Edelstahlfaden falsch um das Bauwollgarn gewickelt wurde. Our new stainless steel mesh HEG03 is available. HEG03 replaces the old HEG05, that is no longer available! HEG03 has a small mesh width of only 0.3 mm at a width of 120 cm and is therefore usable in roof areas, at drywall constructions, for loosely laid and especially as flyscreen. Due to the small mesh width, HEG03 has an excellent attenuation of 50 dB at 1 GHz, which drops down only less at higher frequencies. The successor of Curtain/Dali, our new shielding fabric SILVER-TULLE is now available! Why a successor? On the one hand because the old Curtain/Dali changes the color very bad over time. On the other hand and the most important reason, was the results of extensive in-house washing and movement tests. Curtain/Dali loose the screening attenuation while washing or on movement, the silver detaches from the threads. SILVER-TULLE is therefore coated with 20 % silver in a completely new process. By the way, this new process is used for our shielding fabrics Silver-Twin and Silver-Jersey too! Due to the small mesh size, the attenuation is 50 dB in a wide frequency range. Due to the sufficient optical transparency and air exange, SILVER-TULLE is suitable as net curtain or as groundable canopy (see our models here). Our new grounding strap EB2 is now available! Why a new grounding strap? The old grounding strap EB has an electrical conductive glue with an adhesive force of 3 N/cm, that sticks relatively poor on difficult undergrounds. Especially on gipsum plasterboards EB peels off on painting over. The new grounding strap EB2 has a new glue backside with an adhesive force of 10 N/cm that sticks much better. Nevertheless the new glue is elecrically non-conductive, that is why EB2 has always to be sticked under our shielding paints. New rule: EB on nettings, fleeces and EB2 under shielding paints. We want to inform you, that we renewed all our grounding components and that we extended our assortment. From now on all our grounding components can be directly connected to each other with press studs. We use stiff closing, very stable stainless steel sockets and press studs normally used in the boat building. If local rules stipulates mechanical stability, the plugs can be mechanically fixed, so they cannot be detached without tools. Now there are grounding sets (ESx) with metal plate and cable, or only the plates (EPx) without cable if a cable is already available. One system for all: From ESW and EPW (on walls), ESV, EST and EPV (for loosely laid nettings, fleeces, fabrics), ESR and EPR (for pipes), to canopies (Perspective, New-Curtain, New-Cotton) and floor mats with integrated press studs. To meet the demand for a perfect apparel fabric, we are pleased to offer you today our new SILVER-JERSEY fabric. Background: shirts and underclothing are currently made of fabrics which are technically quite similiar to our WEAR fabric. This works absolutely fine. Underwear and T-shirts made from a non-elastic fabric, however, are not very comfortable to wear. Besides this, such fabrics (also WEAR) come off badly in our internal washing tests. Our new SILVER-JERSEY is woven from highly elastic cotton and a large number of silver threads. The attenuation is high 45 dB at 1 GHz and the result of the washing test is excellent. Basically, SILVER-JERSEY is identically equal to a regular 200 g/m² cotton jersey. Its beige color looks good in a T-shirt as well. As SILVER-JERSEY is highly conductive on its surface it can most likely shield electric fields which is an advantage over electrically isolated fabrics like Wear f.e. Unlike SwissShield® fabrics that are woven with single and thin silver threads, SILVER-JERSEY (and SILVER-TWIN) consists of bundles of approx. 20 silver-threads. Our new shielding gauze HNG80 is now available! Well, HNG80 is not that new, as we used to have a similar gauze with the identical name, but with a price that was a lot higher. Usually gauzes are more expensive to produce than fleeces, but we went through taff negotiations and ordered a big amount as to be able to offer this professional shielding gauze at a sensational low price. HNG80 has an attenuation of 80dB at the relevant range of frequency. Compared to our actual best-seller HNV80 (fleece on nylon basis) an application without crincles with HNG80 (netting on polyester basis) is a lot easier to apply. On the one hand because the polyester netting does not stretch as the fleece does, and on the other hand because the width of the netting is only 66 cm and therefore very easy to handle. SwissShield, the manufacturer of our most sold shielding fabric New-Daylite, is not able to deliver this fabric before middle/end of march 2011 again. Even our big stock is exhausted. Affected is the fabric per meter, as well as the canopies made of New-Daylite. Alternatively we recommend you Voile for transparent curtains.

Many customers choose ready made curtains from our shielding fabrics. Furthermore we are producing more and more shielding canopys and other protective items made from our shielding fabrics. Until today we had an external sewing company to do all that for us. As we are permanently improving our customer service, the availability of products and our quality, and as we want to provide for our good reputation as the world's biggest dealer for shielding fabrics, we invested in an own sewing room. From today on all products made from our shielding fabrics will be sewn in-house. Your advantage: Nearly all products will be available and ready for shipping within one working day in highest quality standard.

Production costs for SwissShield fabrics New-Daylite, Naturell and Evolution went up and therefore our purchase costs just as well. Due to that fact we will have to rise the prices starting next year for canopys made from that fabrics. Starting in january 2011 you can order all curtains made of cotton, such as Naturell, Wear, Silver-Twin and Steel-Twin in different colours. The additional costs will be low and to be payed in a lump-sum per order. This finally puts an end to boring white curtains. Especially for our new shielding fabrics Silver-Twin and Steel-Twin a tender dying is perfect to hide the slightly grey colour. You will read more about this here in january 2011.

New in stock: Our silver/copper shielding
paint HSF92. This shielding paint has a very
high attenuation of 60
dB (comparatively frequency-independent). Well in practice, the 36 dB
attenuation of our standard shielding paint HSF54 is absolutely sufficient for
most private shieldings. However, there are situations which require an even
higher screening attenuation. We worked two years on the development before we
were satisfied with the result. We wanted to develop an ecologically correct
wall paint which can be coated with a paint roller and has no unpleasant odor,
solvents and corrosion inhibitors. A further major point was also a consistent
high attenuation. As the sales price for silver/copper paints is typically
indicated in kg but ours in liter (1.25 kg), we are indicating the basic price

have to raise the price of our dispersion glue DK90. From now on a 5-Liter bucket costs EUR 49.90 (incl. sales
tax). On the basis of this new formulation the HNV80 fleece is now
